If you’re not familiar with the word halal, it is an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted. Generally, Muslims use this word when referring to food practices, though it may be used elsewhere.

The Muslim diet consists of foods that are permitted to eat and have been prepared in a certain way. Butchers must follow certain Islamic guidelines, and food must come from an approved source.

Halal dietary guidelines are strict, and finding good food amongst a sea of restaurants is a chore in itself. This article does the hard work for you by listing the top eateries that stay true (as much as they can) to Islamic ideals while serving some of the tastiest halal Korean BBQ in Central London.
